A Boston-based artist using photographic
imagery and materials as my primary media, my work explores the
extension of fable to discover contemporary cultural conditions. I am specifically considering the way beliefs manifest in the lifeworld.
Much of my work explores the ideas of "street theology." What
objects and images trigger thought, sentiment and connectedness and how do we come to
understand myth and meaning in both a personal
and a larger cultural and anthropological context? What does our
"scape" (urban, suburban, rural, human and natural / land) say about the things we believe?
What does my "scape" say about the things I believe? What is "yours,"
what is "mine," and what is "ours"?
